The web has grown and there are many, many new areas for you to explore. Web 2.0 offers many social networking services and loads of new emerging trends. This class will focus on tools that library patrons are using, and librarians SHOULD be using like Instant Messaging, social bookmarking services, blogs and RSS, photo sharing services like flicker, etc. You will be introduced to these types of new services, and ideas for library usage of each will be explored. |
