Event Title: Survival Skills for Supervisors

Description:
Purpose: Discuss and practice skills for effective supervision.
Training Objectives:
- Understand the four basic roles of a supervisor
- Understand seven steps to effective problem solving
- Understand basic concepts of teambuilding
- Understand basic concepts of performance management
- Develop a personal plan to continue growth
Instructor:
Patty Hasselbring has been involved in management and leadership for over 20 years. As a trainer and consultant she has provided assistance to hundreds of local, state, national, and international organizations in long range planning, project planning and management, supervisory skills, creating and managing change, fund-raising, and board of director's training.
Patty served as the Executive Director of a community-based youth service organization, working with a Board of Directors and providing overall management of a variety of services ranging from residential treatment to 24-hour crisis intervention and a range of prevention services for adolescents and their families.
As the Executive Director of a statewide grant making organization, Patty worked with a governor-appointed Board of Directors. She was responsible for development and implementation of policy, programs, and marketing efforts.
Patty's educational background is in Management and Administration, with emphasis on Human Services Administration.
She also completed the IBM Community Executive Training Program, and the National Youth Services Institute. She is a certified trainer for Achieve Global (Zenger Miller) in all Leadership 2000 programs.

Refund & Credit Policy:
Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made a minimum of seven days prior to the workshop minus a $5.00 administrative fee. You can transfer to another workshop a minimum of seven days before the workshop with no administrative fee. Cancellations made less than seven days prior to a workshop receive no refunds or credits.
